BACKGROUND AND POLICY
The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) establishes rules to govern the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in a manner that recognizes the right to privacy of individuals with respect to their personal information and the need of organizations to collect, use, or disclose personal information for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. Assessment Generator LLC DBA Agolix (“Agolix”) is committed to protecting and respecting the personal information of its customers, employees, business partners, and all other entities it interacts with in accordance with PIPEDA.
Please Note: Capitalized terms used in this PIPEDA Policy have the meanings ascribed to them in our Privacy Policy.
COMPLIANCE WITH PIPEDA PRINCIPLES
PIPEDA is guided by 10 fair information principles. These principles define how personal information is collected, used and disclosed.
Principle 1 – Accountability
We are responsible for maintaining and protecting the information under its control.

Principle 2 – Identifying Purposes
Our privacy policy details the purposes for which we may use personal data collected. As of the date of this PIPEDA Policy, the bullet item “With Business Partners” does not apply because we do not share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services or promotions.
Respondents. We share personal information of Respondents that use our Service in connection with completing assessments provided by clients of Agolix. Such personal information will be handled and processed in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy for Respondents.
Principle 3 – Consent
An individual’s knowledge and consent are required before we are allowed to collect, use or disclose his or her information, except where appropriate.
Creators (Creators) agree to the Agolix privacy policy when creating an account.
Respondents must agree to a consent statement that links to either the Agolix privacy policy or to the assessment author’s privacy policy.
Principle 4 – Limiting Collection
For assessment authors, only the information necessary to create an account and contact the author is collected, such as name and email address.
For Respondents, Agolix allows the author to collect the Respondent’s name and email address. In addition, the assessment author may ask additional questions as part of the assessment.
Principle 5 – Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention
We collect only the information that is necessary for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy. Personal information must only be kept as long as required to serve those purposes. We maintain a records retention policy and schedule to comply with the applicable regulations.
Principle 6 – Accuracy
Our privacy policy outlines our records policy. Information is kept as accurate, complete and up to date as necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.
Creators must provide a valid email address to create an account.
Respondents must provide a valid email address to receive the results of their assessment if the assessment is so configured by the Creator.
Principle 7 – Safeguards
Our Security Statement details Agolix’s security safeguards and response policy for breach of security safeguards.
Principle 8 – Openness
Our privacy policy is online and available to all. Upon individual request, we will make readily available specific information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.
Principle 9 – Individual Access
Any Creator or Respondent may contact us through our website at any time to request modification or deletion of their personal data.
Principle 10 – Challenging Compliance
Any Creator or Respondent may contact us through our website to request additional information about our privacy policy and compliance.
