Congrats, you did it!
You created an assessment and you’re watching the results of that work pay off. Maybe this was your first assessment, or second, or your first time creating a certain type of assessment. Now, you may be asking yourself… What should I do next? Do I create another assessment like this one? Do I try out a different approach? Do I wait?
These are all valid questions and options, and depending on what your goals are, there could be a different answer for everyone. Below, we’ll dive into some of the potential scenarios you may be in, and consider the wide variety of options available to you with Assessment Generator.
I shared my assessment. Now what?
First of all, HOORAY for getting that assessment created and shared! Whether this is your first or 50th assessment, getting questions and content out there always takes guts and time. While we try to make the assessment creation process as streamlined as possible, it still takes effort and strategy to truly make an assessment for the unique business that is yours.
If this is your first assessment, you’ve done the work and now you can look forward to reaping the benefits. What were you hoping to achieve with this assessment? If you hadn’t truly asked yourself that in the beginning, maybe dig a little deeper now. You could also come up with a plan to follow up with respondents who may not have taken the assessment yet in the days to come, to ensure you have a large pool of data (and people to share your expert results and reporting with!)
As time goes on, maybe you’d also like to share your assessments with more people. Assessments can be easily shared via social media, an email signature, in a blog post or newsletter… the opportunities are endless! It’s just up to you to decide on the who, when, and where for your assessment.
My assessment got responses. Now what?
This is the exciting part — your assessment is out there generating responses and results. Depending on how you set up your assessment, respondents may see custom feedback based on their score. Do you want to follow up to see if they have any follow-up questions? This could be a great way to continue a conversation that you started with your assessment.
Do you have an Advanced account? If so, did you know that respondents can automatically be redirected to a page on your site (or even different pages depending upon how they scored)? This option could work for you if you’d like to show respondents just how your product or service would help them through your assessment and feedback… and then redirect them right to a specialized page to learn more and purchase it!
I want to try a new assessment

Whether you’re looking to automatically add respondents’ information to your email list through Zapier, or customize your content by segment, there are hundreds of integrations you can choose from.
Throughout this process, perhaps you’ve realized that next time, you’d like to provide a printable PDF option for your clients to look over versus on-screen feedback, or include more branding on your assessment. That’s great! Each assessment is a learning opportunity, and a chance to learn more about how assessments can work for you and your business. There’s no right or wrong way to use an assessment; there’s only the way that works best for you, and we can’t wait to help you figure out what that is!
