Build your 360° Assessment #

As shown below, there are 4 steps to the 360° Assessment Lifecycle:

We’ll begin by focusing on building your 360° Assessment.

To create a new 360° assessment, go to the “My Assessments” dashboard and click the “New Assessment” button. Then click the “360° Assessment” button.

If you’ve used other Agolix assessments before, the 360° editor will feel familiar—it’s most similar to Multi-type assessments, where each Type you create includes its own score-based feedback.

Settings from the Multi-type editor that aren’t relevant to 360° assessments have been removed.

Use the same steps as outlined in the ‘Set Up Your Assessment‘ section to add your title and header/footer content.

Create Types and Score-Based Feedback #

Follow the same process described in ‘Create Types for your Multi-Type Assessment‘ to define your evaluation categories and assign feedback.

Add Questions and Assign to Types #

Refer to the instructions in ‘Build Your Questions.’ for guidance on creating and organizing your assessment questions by type.

When creating questions for a 360° assessment you’ll see an additional field in the question editor titled “Alternate Wording for Self (Subject)”. This field is optional and allows you to specify alternate wording that is only shown during the self-evaluation. For example, if your question is, “How clearly does the employee express their ideas in written communication?” You might enter “How clearly do you express your ideas in written communication?”

The “Auto Generate” button that appears above that field will use AI to translate the main question to one suitable for the self.

Add Styling Preferences #

Apply your preferred design settings using the same approach as in ‘Styling Your Assessment.’

Notification Settings #

On the Notifications Tab, you can set up alert notifications and messaging that are triggered when an evaluator completes the 360° Assessment.

Evaluator Notifications #

You have three options for follow-up communication with evaluators once they complete their assessment:

1. On-Screen Messaging:
By default, a standard thank-you message appears in the evaluator’s browser after submission. If you’d like to customize this message, you can enable the On-Screen Messaging setting and click the corresponding button to enter your own content. This can include a personalized thank-you, links to your website, or any other information you’d like to share.

2. Redirect to a URL:
Instead of showing a message on-screen, you can choose to redirect evaluators to a specific webpage after they submit their responses. If a URL is entered in this field, it will override any on-screen messaging and evaluators will automatically be taken to that page.

3. Email Messaging:
You can also choose to send evaluators a follow-up email upon completing the assessment. To customize the email content, enable the Email Messaging setting and click the button to edit the message.

Click “Save” to save your settings.

360 Notification settings

Account Holder Notifications #

These optional notifications help keep you informed throughout the assessment process.

  • Alert on Completion: Receive an email each time an evaluator completes their assessment.
  • Additional Alert Emails: You can also designate an additional email address to receive these notifications.

360° Report #

Use the 360° Report tab to build a professional, easy-to-read report using Agolix’s drag-and-drop block editor — similar to the PDF editor for individual reports, but tailored for multi-rater 360° feedback.

  • The editor lets you design a comprehensive report for the subject by aggregating responses from all evaluators.
  • You can customize elements like the cover page, headers, footers, introduction, conclusion, and more.
  • Include a bar graph that shows average scores by role for each assessment type.
  • Type descriptions and score interpretations are automatically pulled in from the Types tab of the 360° assessment.
  • You can also enable tables showing average scores by role for each question — perfect for deeper analysis.
